06 Nights/ 07 Days

Day 01
Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, meet and assist and then transfer to the Allenby border, meet and assist at the Israel side and then we drive into the city of Jerusalem. We start our day with a panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives as the morning lends us a view of the Holy City of Jerusalem. The Middle East flavor is strong, sounds of the morning Muslim prayers are heard and the golden dome of the Rock shimmers in the morning sun. Visit the Chapel of the Ascension (Luke 50-53), the Church of Eleona (Paster Noster) (Luke 11:1-4, Matthew 6:5-15) and walk along Palm Sunday road to the Church of Dominus Flevit Chapel where our Lord Jesus wept over Jerusalem, (Luke 19: 41-44).

We then continue our descent to one of the most inspiring works of Christian Architecture and art in Israel, the Church of All Nations, site of the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26: 36-56, Luke 22: 39-53). From there we will drive to Mount Zion to visit The Last Supper room (the Upper Room) and visit the tomb of David and St. Peter in Galicantu. Then we continue to our hotel in Bethlehem or Jerusalem for dinner and stay overnight.

 
Day 02
After breakfast we drive to the new city to Ein Karim we will visit the birth place of John the Baptist, and then we continue to the Church of the Visitation. After that we drive to Bethlehem,

we come to the Shepherd’s field, just east of Bethlehem, where they learn of the announcement of the birth of Jesus, and then we drive to the Church of the Nativity where Jesus was born.


We also visit Manger Square. Dinner and stay overnight at our hotel in Bethlehem or Jerusalem.
 

Day 03
Today, we will drive to the Old City and through the Dung Gate to visit the Western Wall of the Temple, currently the holiest site of Judaism where supplicants from around the world come to pray. We continue walking to Mount Moriah, site of the first and second Jewish temples and now the Dome of the Rock.

We recall the final hours of Jesus’ life at Pilate’s Judgement Hall, the Chapel of the Flagellation and the Arch of the Ecce Homo “Behold the Man”.
We walk and pray along the Via Dolorosa – “The Stations of the Cross” where Jesus carried and fell beneath the weight of his cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

Then we drive back out to our hotel to have dinner and stay overnight in Bethlehem or Jerusalem.

 

Day 04
Leaving the region of Jerusalem, we drive through the Judean mountains to reach the oldest city of Jericho (Matthew 21:29). In Jericho, we will climb the Mount of Temptation via cable car to visit the site where our Lord stayed for 40 days and nights.
Then we drive to the area of the Dead Sea to enjoy a nice swim and then drive to Bethany, to visit the house of Mary, Martha and Lazarus and then to our hotel for dinner and to stay overnight.

Day 05
After breakfast, we drive through the Jordan Valley to Mount Tabor, to the Mount of Transfiguration. In the afternoon we drive to Nazareth where Jesus grew up.
We visit the Basilica of the Annunciation where Angel Gabriel told Mary that she would “bring forth a son”. We continue on to Mary’s Well and the sight of Joseph’s carpentry shop. Then we drive to our hotel for dinner and to stay overnight.

 

Day 06
This morning we start our day in Cana visiting the Church of the Wedding where our Lord performed his first miracle, the transformation of water into wine (John 2:1-12). Then we drive toward the Sea of Galilee. Visiting the Jordan River to experience the place where John the Baptist immersed Jesus, renewing our baptismal promises in the cleansing waters (Mark 1:9). Visiting the Mount of Beatitudes (Matthew 5) we recount the “Sermon on the Mount” looking over the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee. We continue our visit to Tabgha, where the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fish is commemorated in the mosaic floors of the historic Church. In the town where the ministry of Jesus was centered, Capernaum, we see the remains of an early Church, the ruins of Peter’s house and walk inside the ancient stone synagogue where Jesus preached.

A classic boat ride across the tranquil waters of the Sea of Galilee recalls the miracle of walking on water and calling on Peter and Andrew to become ‘fishers of men. Dinner and overnight stay in Galilee. Like other pilgrims, we too will enjoy a meal of St. Peter’s fish.

 
Day 07
Transfer to the border. As you leave the Holy Land, you not only have an unforgettable life time experience, but also greater insights of the historical, biblical, cultural and political events of this region, meet and assist in Jordan, drive to visit Madaba and Mt. Nebo and then tour the city of Amman, then transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for final departure.

• Carry the hotel card with you & get the telephone no of the Local guide.
• Punctuality will be strictly maintained in morning please assemble 15 minutes before the schedule time and also assemble after site visits on time
• Always look for the local guide and tour guide they are best friends on the tour
• Listen to the explanation and then ask questions
• Baggage allowance 15kgs Checked in & 7Kgs hand carry.
• No liquids, cream, paste, iron equipments are allowed in hand carry bag
• One set of clothes, documents, camera etc can be carried in hand carry bag
